CLEANING TIPS FOR SPEAKERS AND CHARGING PORT
Maintaining peak performance and avoiding problems like muted sound or charging issues require cleaning your smartphone’s speakers and charging port. Here’s a step-by-step tutorial to help you properly clean them:
1. Assemble Your Equipment:
A little paintbrush or a clean toothbrush with soft bristles.
Isopropyl alcohol at least 70% concentrated.
Swabs of cotton (optional).
2. Switch Off Your Mobile Device:
To reduce the chance of electrical harm, turn off and unplug your smartphone from all power sources before starting to clean.
3. Wiping the Port for Charging:
To gently clear the charging port of any visible dust or debris, use the soft-bristled brush. Take care not to overpressurize in order to prevent port damage.
Should there be obstinate filth or grime,
4. Polishing the Speakers:
Likewise, gently brush any dust or debris from the speaker grilles or apertures using the soft-bristled brush. Use caution to prevent jamming more debris into the speakers.
If necessary, use a cotton swab that has been lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol to clean the area surrounding the speaker grilles. To stop liquid from getting into the device, make sure the swab is just gently wet and avoid saturating it.
5. Permit to Dry:
Let your smartphone air dry fully after cleaning it before resetting it or plugging it back into the wall. This lowers the possibility of damage by ensuring that any remaining moisture evaporates.
6. Continue if Required:
Repeat the cleaning process if you find that there is still dirt or debris after the initial cleaning.
